I'm unsure if the Iomega adaptor is already very fast or what. And if > there is a lot of reading and writing going on (ie, trying to compile > the kernel), performance is pretty abysmal. Am I stuck with this CF speed, or is there some magic driver update I can install that will boost the speed to at least 4MBps? FWIW there seems to be a MacOSX driver available as well as a windows one according to the site.
